Possible theme: The Ten Words Caravan
Would you like to make a video for your class? It’s the ideal way to work on a foreign language. It is also a very motivating class project, as video is very much used by young people today. The format used is that of Youtube. The duration of a video is between 5 and 10 minutes. Any topic can be covered. If you don’t have any ideas, we can suggest you to work around the French theme “Dis-moi dix mots”.

The “Dis-moi dix mots” (Tell me ten words) scheme invites everyone to play and express themselves from September to June, in a literary and/or artistic form, around ten words chosen by the French-speaking partners of the OPALE network (Réseau francophone des Organismes de Politique et d’Aménagement Linguistiques). This network is made up of language management bodies from French-speaking countries and regions representing the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, France, Quebec, French-speaking Switzerland and the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (which brings together 88 states and governments).
The aim is to illustrate, from a list of ten words brought together by a theme specific to each edition, the richness of the French language, its capacity to evolve and to designate all contemporary realities. The aim is also to emphasize the role of our language in strengthening social ties and in emancipation.
Thematic workshop
The workshops last one week from Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day.

WORSHOP KAMISHIBAI from 6 to 10 years old.
It is a form of Japanese theatre which literally means: paper theatre. It is an educational tool that allows the meeting between writing, illustration, music and theatrical play..
The objective of the workshop: to write a story of 12 plates following the narrative scheme and to write dialogues between the characters. The illustration of the story can be done in the workshop by a professional illustrator.

WORSHOP SLAM-POETRY from 14 years old
Poetry is the ideal way to approach the special sound of French. Slam is the current version of poetry. This workshop proposes the writing of an individual or collective slam text (depending on the level of the students). At the end of the week, an open slam scene will be organized and/or a collective video created.
